Resumen
Las enfermeras indonesias en Arabia Saudita enfrentan importantes desafíos de comunicación intercultural. El apoyo mejorado y los ajustes de políticas son cruciales para las enfermeras migrantes

Sus antecedentes:
- Las enfermeras indonesias son una parte importante de la fuerza laboral mundial de la atención médica.; Comprender sus experiencias en el extranjero es vital para sistemas de atención médica efectivos.
Objetivo del estudio:
- Explorar las experiencias vividas de enfermeras indonesias que trabajan en el Reino de Arabia Saudita (KSA).
Principales métodos:
- Diseño fenomenológico descriptivo cualitativo utilizando el método de Colaizzi.; Entrevistas semiestructuradas con 20 enfermeras indonesias en KSA.; Datos recopilados en enero de 2024 y analizados mediante transcripción.
Principales resultados:
- Temas clave: motivación para el empleo en el extranjero, desafíos interculturales, diferencias en la práctica de enfermería y beneficios.; Las barreras de comunicación con pacientes y compañeros de trabajo surgieron como un desafío importante.
Conclusiones:
- Las enfermeras indonesias en KSA requieren un mayor apoyo, especialmente para la comunicación.; Los hallazgos informan las políticas de la fuerza laboral para la preparación, el apoyo y la retención de enfermeras migrantes tanto en KSA como en Indonesia.
