Objetivo del estudio:
- Evaluar la sincronía auriculoventricular (AV) de un sistema de marcapasos sin cables (LP) de doble cámara durante un período ambulatorio de 24 horas.
- Evaluar la seguridad y el rendimiento de los LP de doble cámara en pacientes con indicaciones de estimulación estándar.
Principales métodos:
- Se inscribieron pacientes que requerían estimulación de doble cámara en un estudio clínico prospectivo, de un solo brazo y multicéntrico (NCT05252702).
- Los pacientes se sometieron a monitorización ambulatoria de 24 horas con dispositivos Holter mientras reanudaban sus actividades diarias.
- El análisis independiente del laboratorio central adjudicó la proporción de latidos síncronos basándose en parámetros de retardo AV estimulados y detectados.
Principales resultados:
- La sincronía AV media se logró en el 96,7% de los latidos, superando las tasas de éxito de transmisión de A a V (93,4%) y de V a A (92,1%).
- La sincronía AV se mantuvo consistentemente por encima del 90% en diversas frecuencias cardíacas y configuraciones de estimulación/detección en un entorno ambulatorio.
- No se observaron diferencias significativas en la sincronía AV entre pacientes con disfunción del nodo sinusal y bloqueo AV.
Conclusiones:
- El sistema de estimulación sin cables de doble cámara demostró una alta sincronía AV general (>96%) durante un período de 24 horas de la vida diaria.
- Esto confirma la capacidad de mantener una verdadera estimulación DDD(R) de doble cámara en condiciones ambulatorias del mundo real.
- El sistema muestra un rendimiento prometedor para pacientes que requieren soporte de estimulación avanzado.
