Sus antecedentes:

  • La sobrecarga de líquidos (SL) es un problema clínico importante en lactantes prematuros, que conduce a disfunción multiorgánica y malos resultados.
  • Comprender la fisiopatología de la SL es crucial para mejorar las estrategias de manejo en neonatos.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Revisar la fisiopatología, las implicaciones clínicas y el manejo de la sobrecarga de líquidos en lactantes prematuros.
  • Avanzar en las prácticas de manejo de líquidos para neonatos prematuros.

Principales métodos:

  • Se realizó una revisión narrativa de la literatura existente.
  • Se identificó la literatura y se extrajeron datos basándose en la pregunta de investigación y los criterios de inclusión.
  • Los estudios citados en la revisión obtuvieron la aprobación del comité de ética institucional y el consentimiento informado.

  • La optimización del manejo de la SL requiere una monitorización multimodal y regímenes de líquidos personalizados.
  • La investigación futura debe centrarse en refinar los estándares de evaluación y desarrollar intervenciones específicas para mejorar los resultados neonatales.
