Este estudio desarrolló un nuevo sistema de administración de fármacos que utiliza macrófagos para reducir la formación de células espumosas en la aterosclerosis. El sistema reduce eficazmente la acumulación de lípidos e inhibe el desarrollo de placas, ofreciendo una nueva y prometedora estrategia terapéutica.
