Sus antecedentes:
- Comprender los valores profesionales de las enfermeras es crucial para la calidad de la atención al paciente.
- La atención individualizada es un aspecto clave de la práctica de enfermería centrada en el paciente.
Objetivo del estudio:
- Para determinar los valores profesionales de las enfermeras y las experiencias de atención individualizada.
- Para identificar los factores que afectan a estos valores y experiencias.
Principales métodos:
- Estudio transversal con 470 enfermeras y enfermeros.
- Los datos se recopilaron utilizando un formulario de información, la Escala de Valores Profesionales de Enfermeras (NPVS, por sus siglas en inglés) y la versión de Enfermeras de la Escala de Cuidados Individualizados (ICS-Nurse, por sus siglas en inglés).
Principales resultados:
- Los valores profesionales de las enfermeras estaban a un nivel moderado.
- Existe una relación positiva y débil entre los valores profesionales y la atención individualizada.
- Las subdimensiones específicas de los valores profesionales se correlacionan significativamente con las puntuaciones de atención individualizada.
Conclusiones:
- Los valores profesionales de las enfermeras influyen directamente en su enfoque para brindar atención individualizada.
- La mejora de los valores profesionales puede mejorar la prestación de atención individualizada al paciente.
