    Sus antecedentes:

    • El aprendizaje federado (FL) mejora la segmentación semántica al reducir los costos de anotación a través del entrenamiento descentralizado.
    • Los métodos FL existentes para la segmentación semántica sufren de olvido catastrófico cuando los clientes encuentran nuevas clases en datos de transmisión.
    • El olvido heterogéneo entre clientes se ve exacerbado por la participación irregular de nuevos clientes con clases novedosas.

    Objetivo del estudio:

    • Proponer un novedoso modelo de Alivio Jerárquico del Olvido (HFA) para abordar el olvido catastrófico en la segmentación semántica basada en FL.
    • Garantizar el aprendizaje continuo de nuevas categorías mientras se retiene el conocimiento de categorías antiguas en todos los clientes locales.
    • Mitigar el olvido tanto dentro como entre clientes en entornos dinámicos de FL.

    Principales métodos:

    • Desarrolló una estrategia de etiquetado pseudo de confianza regularizada para etiquetas pseudo suaves equilibradas por clase para aliviar el olvido dentro del cliente.
    • Diseñó una pérdida de coincidencia de relaciones inducida por gráficos y un módulo de propagación de gradientes equilibrado para el olvido para manejar las relaciones de clases antiguas.
    • Implementó un módulo de detección de tareas y agrupación adaptativa DBSCAN para abordar el olvido heterogéneo entre clientes y gestionar las actualizaciones del modelo global.

    Principales resultados:

    • El modelo HFA propuesto alivia eficazmente el olvido desequilibrado de clases dentro de los clientes locales.
    • El modelo aborda con éxito las relaciones ambiguas entre clases y la propagación de gradientes desequilibrada de clases.
    • Los experimentos demuestran la superioridad de HFA sobre los métodos existentes en múltiples conjuntos de datos.

    Conclusiones:

    • El modelo HFA proporciona una solución robusta para el olvido catastrófico en la segmentación semántica federada.
    • Los métodos propuestos permiten la retención y transferencia de conocimiento efectivas en entornos FL dinámicos y heterogéneos.
    • HFA garantiza que todos los clientes puedan aprender unos de otros mientras se adaptan continuamente a nuevos datos y clases.
