Resumen

Los sistemas de inteligencia artificial (IA) como Copilot, Gemini y ChatGPT muestran un fuerte rendimiento en los exámenes de Soporte Vital Básico (SVB) y Soporte Vital Cardiovascular Avanzado (SVCA), superando a muchos estudiantes de enfermería. La supervisión humana sigue siendo esencial para estas herramientas avanzadas de IA.

Sus antecedentes:

Los sistemas de IA demuestran un alto rendimiento en los exámenes de licencia médica. Existe una investigación limitada sobre el rendimiento de la IA en la educación de enfermería. No hay estudios previos que hayan comparado las capacidades de la IA con los estudiantes de enfermería.

Objetivo del estudio:

Comparar el rendimiento de los estudiantes de enfermería que se gradúan en los exámenes de SVB/SVCA con los sistemas de IA. Evaluar tres modelos de IA: Gemini, ChatGPT y Copilot.

Principales métodos:

Diseño de estudio descriptivo. Participaron 120 estudiantes de enfermería de tercer y cuarto año. Se compararon las puntuaciones de los estudiantes en los exámenes de SVB/SVCA con las puntuaciones generadas por IA.

Principales resultados:

La puntuación media de los estudiantes fue de 20,70/25. Puntuaciones de los sistemas de IA: Gemini (23/25), ChatGPT (21/25), Copilot (24/25). Copilot superó al 86,7% de los estudiantes, Gemini al 72,5% y ChatGPT al 55,8%.

Conclusiones:

Los sistemas de IA muestran un rendimiento excepcional en comparación con los estudiantes de enfermería que se gradúan. Copilot demostró el mayor rendimiento entre los sistemas de IA evaluados. A pesar de las capacidades de la IA, la supervisión humana experta sigue siendo necesaria.
