Abstract:
Contemporary data on evaluations and treatment of infants exposed to syphilis in utero are limited. This study analyzed population-based surveillance data to describe the management of exposed infants. Findings indicate inconsistent implementation of recommended guidelines for evaluations and treatment of infants exposed to syphilis in utero.
