Resumen
Los receptores de trasplantes de órganos sólidos muestran una mayor incidencia de cáncer de tiroides. Sin embargo, este estudio encontró que las muertes por cáncer de tiroides no estaban relacionadas con el trasplante en sí.
Conclusiones:
- La incidencia de cáncer de tiroides parece ser elevada en los receptores de trasplantes de órganos sólidos.
- Las tasas de mortalidad por cáncer de tiroides no se vieron afectadas significativamente en esta cohorte.
- Se necesita más investigación para comprender los mecanismos y las implicaciones a largo plazo.
