Sus antecedentes:

  • El vasoespasmo coronario es una causa subestimada de paro cardíaco extrahospitalario.

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Caracterizar los hallazgos de imagen intracoronaria en un paciente con paro cardíaco recurrente debido a vasoespasmo coronario severo.

Principales métodos:

  • Informe de caso de un paciente con paro cardíaco recurrente.

Principales resultados:

  • La OCT reveló lesiones íntimas focales, microcoágulos y encogimiento del vaso.
  • Estos hallazgos ocurrieron a pesar de la ausencia de obstrucción coronaria fija.
  • El paciente experimentó eventos isquémicos repetidos, incluida isquemia mesentérica fatal.

Conclusiones:

  • El vasoespasmo coronario severo puede causar lesiones íntimas repetidas y desencadenar un paro cardíaco fatal.
