Sus antecedentes:

Objetivo del estudio:

  • Revisar sistemáticamente y evaluar la adherencia a las directrices CONSORT-NPT en ECAs de rinoplastia.
  • Identificar deficiencias específicas de notificación en ECAs de rinoplastia publicados.
  • Evaluar la calidad de la evidencia e identificar factores que influyen en la adherencia a la notificación.

Principales métodos:

  • Revisión sistemática que se adhiere a las directrices PRISMA y AMSTAR-2.
  • Se buscaron ECAs de rinoplastia (2017-2024) en PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar y MEDLINE.
  • Se evaluó la adherencia a la lista de verificación CONSORT-NPT, la calidad del estudio (Cochrane Risk of Bias, GRADE) y se analizaron las correlaciones con el factor de impacto de la revista y el número de autores.

Principales resultados:

  • Se analizaron noventa y siete ECAs de rinoplastia, mostrando una adherencia media a CONSORT del 68,8 %.
  • Alta notificación de objetivos y resúmenes, pero déficits en el registro de ensayos (53,6 %) y divulgación de financiación (51,5 %).
  • La mayoría de los estudios fueron monocéntricos con participantes limitados, lo que afectó la generalización; no se encontró correlación entre la adherencia y el factor de impacto de la revista o el número de autores.

Conclusiones:

  • Los ECAs de rinoplastia demuestran una adherencia moderada a CONSORT, con brechas significativas en áreas de notificación esenciales.
  • Priorizar la aplicación de las directrices de CONSORT es clave para mejorar la calidad de la investigación y la seguridad del paciente.
  • Abordar los déficits de notificación mejorará la reproducibilidad y la práctica basada en la evidencia en la rinoplastia.
