    La incidencia de la enfermedad neumocócica invasiva es similar en las mujeres embarazadas, pero 3,5 veces mayor en las mujeres posparto en comparación con las mujeres no embarazadas. Estos hallazgos resaltan la necesidad de considerar la vacunación neumocócica para las personas posparto.
