La hidrocefalia de presión normal (HPN) presenta una depuración alterada de proteínas del líquido cefalorraquídeo (LCR). Un nuevo método de marcaje con isótopos estables revela una depuración significativamente más lenta de la transtirretina en pacientes con HPN, lo que sugiere una nueva herramienta de diagnóstico y monitorización para el flujo del LCR.
