Resumen
La implementación de las mejores prácticas mejoró significativamente los equipos de atención médica

Sus antecedentes:
- Alinear los objetivos de atención del paciente con la comprensión del equipo de atención médica es crucial pero desafiante.
- La comunicación efectiva y la toma de decisiones compartida son vitales para los pacientes oncológicos hospitalizados.
Objetivo del estudio:
- Implementar las mejores prácticas para mejorar la concordancia de los objetivos de atención.
- Fomentar una comprensión compartida entre los profesionales de la salud para pacientes oncológicos.
Principales métodos:
- Se utilizó el Marco de Implementación de Evidencia de JBI y el proceso de auditoría y retroalimentación.
- Se llevó a cabo en un hospital terciario brasileño en tres fases: auditoría inicial, implementación de estrategias y auditorías de seguimiento.
- Se estableció un grupo de trabajo para guiar la implementación de la evidencia.
Principales resultados:
- La auditoría inicial mostró una baja adherencia (13,04% discutiendo objetivos, 6,25% de conocimiento).
- Las auditorías de seguimiento demostraron una mejora significativa, alcanzando una adherencia del 96% y un conocimiento mejorado del 81,25%.
- Se observó un aumento en la percepción de obstinación terapéutica (78,13%) y angustia moral reportada (53,13%).
Conclusiones:
- La mejora de la adherencia mejoró la calidad de la atención y la confianza del equipo en las discusiones sobre objetivos.
- La mejora sostenida requiere un liderazgo continuo, compromiso del equipo, capacitación y auditorías.
- Las intervenciones educativas y estructurales impactan positivamente la práctica clínica en entornos oncológicos.
