    Sus antecedentes:

    • El virus de la leucemia murina de Abelson (A-MuLV) contiene un gen transformador (v-abl) derivado del gen abl (c-abl) celular del ratón.
    • Comprender la estructura genómica de la c-abl es crucial para descifrar los orígenes de los oncogenes virales.

    Objetivo del estudio:

    • Para aislar y caracterizar el gen del ratón c-abl.
    • Para investigar la relación entre las secuencias c-abl y v-abl.
    • Para identificar dominios funcionales dentro del gen c-abl.

    Principales métodos:

    • Técnicas de aislamiento y caracterización de genes.
    • Secuenciación de ADN de regiones homólogas.
    • Análisis comparativo de la secuencia de c-abl y v-abl.

    Principales resultados:

    • El locus c-abl del ratón abarca aproximadamente 40 kb, con homologías v-abl distribuidas en múltiples grupos.
