Resumen
Una fosfoproteína específica secretada por las células transformadas está relacionada con el cáncer, no solo con el crecimiento. Este marcador de proteína distingue eficazmente las células tumorígenas de las normales o preneoplásicas tanto en los tejidos epiteliales como en los fibroblastos.
