La agregación plaquetaria en las arterias coronarias estrechadas causa reducciones cíclicas del flujo sanguíneo en perros. Los medicamentos antiinflamatorios y la aspirina previenen estas obstrucciones, lo que sugiere un mecanismo impulsado por las plaquetas.
