マニフェストOAGの患者における固定に対する重複の脅威 (TTF) とVRQoLとの関連を調査する.
OAG集団におけるVRQoLの予測要因を特定する.

316人のOAG患者さんを募集した.
VRQoLは,スウェーデン国立眼科研究所の視覚機能アンケート-25 (VFQ-25) を用いて評価された.
両目のグラウコマ性視野喪失の特定の基準に基づいて重複TTFを定義した. 線形回帰分析を用いた.

主要な成果:

一変数分析では,重複するTTFとVRQoLのスコアとの間に有意な関連性が見られた.
この関連性は,混同因子を調整した多変量分析では有意ではなかった.
統合視野平均偏差 (IVF-MD) と最もよく修正された視力は,VRQoLの有意な予測因子であり,実質的な差異を説明しました.

結論:

オーバーラップされたTTFは,OAGにおけるVRQoLの独立予測因子ではありません.
IVF-MDは,この患者群でVRQoLの最も有意な予測因子である.
これらの発見は,患者によって報告されたアウトカムを決定する際に,全体的な視野状態の重要性を強調しています.
