  • SUVR閾値(1.1-1.4)をタウPETデータに適用し、主要なMTL領域(EC、海馬傍回、扁桃体、紡錘状回)における閾値超過ボクセルの割合を計算しました。
  • 各ROIの平均SUVRと比較して、閾値超過分析をスピアマンの順位相関係数を用いて比較しました。

  • Aβ-参加者において、嗅内皮質(EC)における閾値超過法(SUVR ≥1.4)は、血漿中p-tau217との相関が最も強く(ρ=0.25、p=0.011)示されました。; Aβ+参加者において、閾値超過法(SUVR ≥1.4)はECにおける平均SUVRと同等でしたが、後期内側側頭葉(MTL)領域(扁桃体、海馬傍回、紡錘状回)におけるタウPET検出感度が高かったです。; 平均SUVRは、Aβ-において弱い有意でない相関を示し、Aβ+参加者における後期MTL領域での有意な関連を検出しませんでした。

結論:

  • 閾値超過アプローチは、病理がまだ飽和していない領域における早期タウ凝集の検出において、平均SUVRよりも感度が高いです。
  • 血漿中p-tau217は、AβがないCU個人のECにおける閾値超過タウPETと相関します。
  • 後期MTL領域における血漿中p-tau217と閾値超過タウPETの関係は、Aβ病理とともに現れ、時間的ダイナミクスと高感度バイオマーカー検出の有用性を強調しています。
