主要な成果:

  • 難聴の人は、正常な聴力の人と比較して、PACCとMoCAの両方で有意に低いスコアを示しました。
  • 客観的な聴覚障害（WIN閾値が高い）は、調整後、認知機能の低下（MoCAおよびPACCスコアが低い）と有意に関連していました。
  • 補聴器の使用はPACCスコアの上昇と相関しており、認知機能への潜在的な利益を示唆していましたが、自己申告による聴覚障害（HHI）は認知機能の結果を予測しませんでした。

結論:

  • 客観的な聴覚障害は、高齢者の認知機能の低下と有意に関連しています。
  • 補聴器の使用は認知機能の利点をもたらす可能性があり、聴覚介入の重要性を強調しています。
