主な方法:

  • 米国とプエルトリコ(2021-2024年)のラテン系/ラティナ/ラティネ/ラティクス成人(18歳以上)に、検証済みの47項目の調査を実施しました。この調査では、認知症の知識と計画された行動理論の領域(信念、知覚された制御)を評価しました。記述統計、カイ二乗検定、マン・ホイットニーのU検定、多項ロジスティック回帰を使用してデータを分析しました。

主要な成果:

  • 1,019人のラテン系/ラティナ/ラティネ/ラティクスが調査を完了しました。74%が女性で、平均年齢は46.2歳でした。日常的な記憶の問題に対して医師の診察を受ける可能性が非常に高い/極めて高いと回答したのは70%でした。ケアを求める意図は、年齢、診断への自信、原因を知ることの重要性、家族の承認、支援を求めることの容易さと相関していました。

結論:

  • 年齢、家族の承認、症状の原因を知りたいという願望は、ラテン系/ラティナ/ラティネ/ラティクスが記憶ケアを求める際の主な推進要因です。今後の研究では、記憶ケアサービスへのアクセスの容易さに影響を与える要因に焦点を当てるべきです。標準的なケアにアクセス要因を含めることで、タイムリーな医療探索を奨励できる可能性があります。
