意図的なラウンド実施による新規免許看護師の定着率向上
Abstract:
Nurse residency programs are crucial for retaining newly licensed nurses and improving organizational retention. These programs offer extensive orientation and support, impacting fiscal resources. Despite a Magnet hospital's 92% one-year retention benchmark, rates fell below expectations. The organization's nurse residency program steering committee addressed and improved turnover through an initiative they titled, "Intentional Rounding." Nursing professional development practitioners may incorporate a similar plan to increase retention in their programs.
