Imperfections in Crystal Structure: Stoichiometric Point Defects

Schottky defects arise when some lattice points in a crystal, such as those in NaCl, remain unoccupied, creating lattice vacancies without disturbing the overall electrical neutrality of the crystal. This defect is common in ionic crystals where the positive and negative ions are similar in size, as seen in sodium chloride and cesium chloride. AGIおよびAttEXploreのような説明手法は、OCT画像を用いた糖尿病網膜症(DR)検出におけるAI予測の説明に有望であることを示している。AttEXploreは臨床的に関連のある領域を強調する上で好ましいが、専門家による解釈は依然として重要である。
