  • 血栓を染色(ヘマトキシリン・エオジン)して、フィブリン、赤血球(RBC)、白血球(WBC)の割合を定量化した。
  • 単変量および多変量解析を実施し、関連する変数を調整した。

主要な成果:

  • 男性患者は女性患者(33.8%)と比較して、赤血球(RBC)の割合が高かった(51.5%)。
  • 女性患者は男性患者(45.1%および4.4%)よりもフィブリン(58.3%)および白血球(WBC)(6.5%)の割合が高かった。
  • 多変量解析により、性はWBCの割合の独立した予測因子であることが明らかになったが、RBC数はフィブリンおよびRBCの割合の独立した予測因子であった。

結論:

  • 性は、急性虚血性脳卒中血栓における白血球(WBC)の割合の独立した決定因子である。
  • 性およびフィブリンまたは赤血球(RBC)の割合との独立した関連は見られず、RBC数による媒介が示唆された。
  • 将来の研究では、血栓組成を研究する際に性およびベースラインの検査値を組み込むべきである。
