108種類の2次元(2D)材料を光触媒活性についてスクリーニングした。Al₂Si₂N₄およびAl₂Ge₂N₄は、全体的な水分解に対して高い効率を示し、特に窒素空孔を導入することで、太陽光を用いた水素製造の有望な材料となる。
