正常圧水頭症(NPH)では脳脊髄液(CSF)タンパク質クリアランスが障害されている。新規の安定同位体標識法により、NPH患者ではトランスサイレチンのクリアランスが著しく遅いことが明らかになり、CSF流動の新たな診断およびモニタリングツールとなる可能性が示唆される。
