Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (an ichneumon wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Ichneumonidae). The genome sequence is 654.2 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.19 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 19,399 protein coding genes.
