1Victoria Louwagie is an assistant professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minn., and practices in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Michael Halasy is an assistant professor in healthcare administration and a health services researcher in the Spine Center at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. The study was supported by an internal grant from the Office of Mayo Clinic Health System Research in Southern Minnesota and by a cooperative agreement grant (UL1TR002377) from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, a component of the National Institutes of Health. The authors have disclosed no potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise.
