1Janice Evans Hawkins is an assistant professor in the School of Nursing at Old Dominion University, Virginia Beach, VA, where Robert Joseph Hawkins is an adjunct professor. Patrick Chiu is an assistant professor in the nursing department at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Mercy Ngosa Mumba is an associate professor and founding director of the Center for Substance Use Research and Related Conditions in the Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
