衰老研究前沿:面向医学生的新型老年医学选修课程

老年患者通常具有复杂的医疗和心理社会保健需求,而即将毕业的医学生常感到自身缺乏充分的能力来妥善处理这些问题。《衰老前沿》(Frontiers in Aging,FiA)是一门为期4周的老年医学选修课,面向各专业方向中关注老年患者的高年级医学生开设。课程以一位60多岁健康男性在衰老过程中逐渐出现多种共病情况为主线展开。课程由多学科团队基于老年医学核心能力要求进行授课。动态循证医学环节采用互动式教学方法,并融入住院医师所需的关键技能。该课程已连续开展6年,其中2年因COVID-19疫情以线上形式进行。通过课程前后问卷调查评估课程的可行性、实用性和可接受性。三年间共有160名学生参与课程,每份问卷的完成率接近90%。受访者反馈,97%的课程内容涉及新颖知识。评估结果显示:(1)课程具有吸引力且学习体验良好;(2)课程内容新颖且具实用性;(3)所授技能与知识对未来各专业方向的职业发展均有帮助。值得注意的是,96%(134/140)的学生表示愿意再次选择该课程。FiA是一门多模式选修课程,可向不同专业方向的医学生传授核心老年医学能力,且在面授和线上两种教学形式下均具有良好教学效果。
