• ¹Lisa Kalafus is the chief nursing officer at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare in Wallingford, CT, where Henry Charles Hrdlicka is the director of research, Jennifer Lombardi is the telesitting coordinator and a nurse supervisor, and June Napolitano and Nicole Morrill are nurse managers. Samantha Proctor is a graduate medical student at the Campbell University Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine in Buies Creek, NC, as well as a research apprentice at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. Leasing costs for the continuous video monitoring devices and system software used in the study were paid by the study site; the manufacturer did not sponsor the research.
