• ¹Leslee J. Thompson, is the chief executive officer of Health Standards Organization and Accreditation Canada. Leslee also holds an appointment as executive-in-residence at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto in Toronto, ON, where she teaches on strategy and change leadership. A passionate champion of people-centred care, Leslee began her career as an intensive care unit nurse and has over 30 years of senior executive experience in hospitals, health systems, the government and a global MedTech company. She has served on multiple public and private sector boards, including the International Society for Quality in Health Care. Leslee recently received the Legacy of Leadership Award from HealthCareCAN in recognition of her positive impact on the health of Canadians.+1
