Noninvasive and Invasive Renal Hypoxia Monitoring in a Porcine Model of Hemorrhagic Shock
Published on: October 28, 2022
Abstract:
In 176 injured persons with severe burns the additional methods of nonspecific combined detoxication were applied. Their pathogenetic influence on the hypoxia severity in the severe and extremely severe intoxication was studied up. Reliable improvement of the blood rheologic properties was noted, caused by the erythrocytes deformitivity increase and its viscosity lowering, coexistent with the hypoxia severity reduce, clinical stabilization of the patient's state, mortality lowering by 2.6 times.

Objectives and Importance:
The primary goal of respiratory assessment is to evaluate patients at early risk of clinical deterioration. Since respiratory distress often precedes other signs of declining health, breathing patterns and sounds become a...
Burn Injuries
The damage results in the death of skin cells, which can lead to a massive loss of fluid. Dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and renal and circulatory failure follow, which can be fatal. Burn patients are treated with intravenous fluids to offset...

Types of Hypoxia
There are four primary types of hypoxia, each resulting from a different cause:
1. Anemic hypoxia: This type occurs due to insufficient oxygen delivery caused by a lack of red blood cells (RBCs) or RBCs with abnormal or...
