Abstract:
The major force driving radiology today is the need to contain costs and find new sources of revenue. How is the field of radiology reacting to these forces? The remaining data from the 1989 AHRA Trends Survey reported in this article includes results on competition, marketing, new programs, operations, staffing, and equipment purchase and maintenance. Comparisons from the 1985 and the 1987 Trends Surveys are also included.
