This notice announces the withdrawal of Medicare coverage for certain investigational intraocular lenses (IOLs). Medicare coverage of IOLs that have received approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will continue to be covered by Medicare, as well as certain other IOLs that are awaiting FDA approval.
