Oregon collaboration standardizes ambulatory diabetes care

When Oregon state officials recognized that differences among health plans' guidelines for treating diabetes resulted in less-than-adequate care, they brought the groups together to resolve the differences. Procedures were set up and adopted by the state's major health plans.
