Parameters of spinal forms during sitting. Part of the Delft Gerontechnology Project

In this paper the development of a measuring method is described. The subject of the ultimate study is the exterior form of the spine, which is a very complicated bodily element. In order to find out whether particular forms exist in combination with specific postures of the body or whether age influences the spinal form and flexibility, this research was done. Because this research is based on recently developed analysing method, this method was put to test first.
