A retrospective analysis of the systolic BP/IOP ratio in glaucoma screening
Abstract:
It has been postulated that the BP/IOP ratio is more predictive of glaucoma than is tonometry alone. An analysis of clinical data from 128 glaucoma patients and 115 normals yields a sensitivity of 80%. Specificity of 86% and relative risk ratio of 22 for this screening test. Evidence of the existence of a dose-response relationship is also found.
