A program for department daily performance using the personal computer

Personal computers are becoming increasingly available, both in the workplace and at home. This article presents a software program which can help manage the radiology department by indicating how the department is performing in relation to staffing and procedure volume. The program makes use of the personal computer to obtain immediate response to the department's daily performance. The results shed light on the question of actual FTE needs of the department.
