Cost control and the clinician

As the cost of health care continues to rise significantly, health care providers, who previously had little interest in the mechanics of health care costing, have had to develop a working knowledge in this area in an attempt to help reduce costs. This article discusses some of the difficulties providers are having in familiarizing themselves with the process of cost control.
