An infinite number of fingers: CD-ROM expands access and flexibility. Interview by Carolyn Dunbar

A CD-ROM publication is like having "an infinite number of fingers and place markers to be able to look for things and do it all within seconds," says Richard A. Bowers, executive director of the Optical Publishing Association. In an interview with Computers in Healthcare, Bowers reviews the Physician's Desk Reference on CD-ROM and discusses the deliverable capabilities of this enormously flexible medium.
