Creating a hairline

The hair mass and especially the frontal hairline comprises the largest visible feature of the face and, as such, is prominently featured in the first impression that one person makes in evaluating another. According to proportions proposed by Michelangelo, the hairline should be located at the junction of the middle and upper thirds of the face.
