[The power of nursing versus minimal nursing data]

This article reports the Belgian experience of the Nursing Minimum Data Set (NMDS), in order to make the nurse work visible. The collected data are forwarded to the Health Ministry and, together with the DRGs, constitute the base for the determination of hospitals financing budget in Belgium.
