Summary

Ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) has not yet achieved its goal of non-surgical fat dissolution. While UAL shows promise for fibrous areas and revision liposuction, further improvements in safety and efficiency are needed.

Ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) is an evolving technique for fat removal.
