Erythroleukemia following total-body irradiation for advanced lymphocytic lymphoma

A patient with advanced lymphocytic lymphoma received treatment with total-body irradiation. Two years later acute erythroleukemia developed which proved fatal. Previous experience with total-body irradiation is considered and the relationship between radiation exposure and leukemia discussed.
