Abstract
Aim:
Retrospective evaluation of results of secondary PC IOL implantation without scleral fixation.
Material And Methods:
29 eyes of 21 patients including 8 children underwent secondary PC IOL implantation into the sulcus. In all these eyes there was partially or completely preserved posterior capsule.
Results:
Final postoperative visual acuity of 20/40 or better was achieved in 82.7% of the eyes with PC IOL.
Conclusion:
Secondary PC IOL implants give good anatomical and functional results.
