[Possibilities and limitations in the conservation of traumatized deciduous teeth]

A survey is given on the various traumatic lesions of deciduous teeth and the therapeutical measures. The latter aim at retaining every traumatized tooth, if possible, in order not to disturb the growth of the jaws. A study by the authors on 116 recently traumatized deciduous teeth showed that almost half of the teeth could be retained.
