    Summary

    Tracheal bronchus (TB) surgery in three patients with right-sided localization revealed associated congenital conditions. One patient with cardiovascular issues and TB died from persistent pulmonary hemorrhage.

    Background:

    • Tracheal bronchus (TB) is a rare congenital malformation.
    • Associated congenital anomalies are common in TB patients.
    • Surgical intervention is considered for symptomatic TB.

    Observation:

    • Three patients with right-sided TB underwent surgical treatment.
    • All patients presented with concomitant bronchopulmonary and cardiovascular system pathologies.
    • One patient had a history of cardiovascular disease.

    Findings:

    • Surgical outcomes varied among the patients.
    • One patient experienced fatal, continuing pulmonary hemorrhage post-surgery.
    • The deceased patient had concurrent cardiovascular pathology.

    Implications:

    • Congenital tracheal bronchus poses significant surgical risks.
    • Associated pathologies, especially cardiovascular, increase mortality.
    • Careful patient selection and management are crucial for TB surgery.
