Background:

Gingival fibromas are benign tumors originating from the periodontal ligament.
Peripheral cemento-ossifying fibromas are rare, typically occurring in young adults.
Intraoral swellings in children warrant thorough investigation and diagnosis.

Observation:

A 10-year-old female patient presented with a pedunculated, mobile, and firm intraoral swelling.
The swelling was located on the labial aspect of teeth 32 & 33, originating from the marginal gingiva and interdental papilla.
Clinical examination revealed normal gingival color with slight ulceration and no tenderness.

Findings:

Surgical excision of the gingival swelling was performed.
Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of peripheral cemento-ossifying fibroma.
