Summary

Continuous cycler peritoneal dialysis (CPD) showed lower rates of Staphylococcus aureus, polymicrobial, and fungal peritonitis compared to manual peritoneal dialysis. However, gram-negative peritonitis rates were higher in CPD patients, warranting further investigation.
